In our project, we will use text analysis, sentiment analysis, shortest path, network analysis, community detection to explore the business value behind the Yelp dataset.
In our network, each node represents a restaurant, a user can review several different restaurants and a restaurant can be reviewed by multiple users. For a restaurant,
the more reviews it has, the higher degree it will have, the size of the node will become bigger.
The network will give users recommendations regarding the restaurants based on their previous choices and current location. There will be a Yelp friendship network and a
random user network. We will do all the analysis on both networks to compare them.
